Acetate, sometimes referred to as resin or acrylic is made using cellulose acetate, a biodegradable wood pulp. It needs less care and caution than brass, silver, or gold-plated jewelry. Just a few tips:

Keep your jewelry out of extreme heat and direct sun. Extended sun exposure can yellow your pieces.

Avoid harsh chemicals and alcohol. Certain perfumes and cosmetics may ruin the surface of your jewelry.
